Good God that guy is full of crap. Of the 550 billion dollars, approximately 1 1/2 to 2% is an equity investment, the rest of it is a loan to the United States for which the United States will pay interest on. So not only does Japan get their 550 billion dollars back, they get it back with interest and they got to keep 10% of the profit from that point on. Basic business 101 says the US got burned. Trump is an idiot negotiator
When you have real financial capability, more no matter the regions especially dealing with countries what's understood also understandable do not need to be or become explained
When you do not have any real financial capability, more no matter the regions especially dealing with countries then it has or have to be or become explained like that, more
Well at least someone is trying to make better deals for the USA.
All the last “deals” made for the USA totally sucked. Hell we built the Panama Canal and then just it gave away!!!!
I learned at a early age….. Don't be into everything for the money also currency, more about nothing legally also illegally
Japan has the right to decline funding for all or part of a project. However, if Japan chooses to do so, the United States may respond by imposing tariffs on Japanese imports.
Japan and the United States will share profits from the project equally until Japan recoups its initial investment. After Japan has recovered its investment, profits will be distributed at a rate of 90 percent to the United States and 10 percent to Japan.
The U.S. government will seek to arrange leases for federal land, as well as secure access to water, power, and energy for investment projects. Additionally, the federal government will expedite relevant regulatory processes.
Whenever possible, Japanese firms will be given priority over comparable foreign firms when it comes to serving as vendors and suppliers for these projects.
**The US is effectively servicing a debt to Japan under the 50/50 profit distribution terms until Tokyo recoups its initial investment.
Free Palestine 🇵🇸
