    What a lovely trip you had. The island is fabulous and the temple was so pretty. The single rooms are perfect for such a short trip where you can sleep for most of it. I just love how the trains are so clean.

    Great trip, I don't think this first time on this year you are taking Sunrise Seto, because as far as I remember in this year you are doing a trip trying all of Sunrise Express on a round trip (departing from Tokyo by Sunrise Izumo, then taking Express Train from Izumo to Takamatsu via Okayama and back to Tokyo by Sunrise Seto), beside in this year you are already taking Sunrise Express 3-4 times (including your parents trip). Overall never disappointed taking Sunrise Express, just hoping there's successor of this train in production with modern amenities.

    23:06 I think this place is commonly used to stage Kiki's Delivery Service cosplay photos, maybe because of the windmill (or the live action was filmed there or something)? It's popular to take photos astride a broom while jumping in the air so you look like you're "flying". That's my guess!
