जनता अगर ठान ले तो देश में क्या कुछ पॉसिबल नहीं है? यह इसका सबसे बड़ा प्रूफ है। जापान में पिछले डेढ़ साल से राइस का इतना शॉर्टेज चल रहा है कि यह लिटरली एक नेशनल इमरजेंसी बन चुकी है और राइस की प्राइस भी डबल हो चुकी है और हालात इतने खराब है कि प्राइस स्टेबल करने के लिए गवर्नमेंट को राइस के इमरजेंसी रिजर्व में से सप्लाई करना पड़ रहा है। अब ऐसे वक्त में जहां पे लोगों के खाने में से एक इंपॉर्टेंट फैक्टर गायब है। तभी जापान का एग्रीकल्चर मिनिस्टर एक कॉन्फ्रेंस में आके मजाक-मज़ाक में बोलता है कि उन्हें कभी चावल खरीदने की जरूरत ही नहीं पड़ी क्योंकि उनके सपोर्टर्स ही उन्हें चावल बेचते हैं। उन्होंने यह भले ही मजाक में बोला था लेकिन इससे पब्लिक के सेंटीमेंट्स हर्ट हो गए। लोगों को लगा कि यार हम यहां क्या परेशानी में है और इनका कुछ अलग ही चल रहा है। इसलिए पूरा जापान इस पॉलिटिशियन के अगेंस्ट खड़ा हो गया और उन्हें क्रिटिसाइज करने लग गए और इससे पब्लिक प्रेशर इतना ज्यादा बढ़ गया कि इस एक रीजन की वजह से उस पॉलिटिशियन को रिजाइन करना पड़ा।
