The title and the protest give a false sentiment that japan is against the building of mosquee in its territory. (there are more than 200 already)

Please make some research, the protest is the work of few people (less than 2500) in a community of half a milion;

As a Japanese: One Mosque isn't really a problem, we can accept some immigrants, we are in need of them because of labor insufficiency.
But there shouldn't be tons of the mosques and immigrants concentrated in one area. We need them assimilated into Japanese society, not create their own society.

Look at how Indonesia and Malaysia turned out now and how they used to be once upon a time. Japan doing the right thing. They also did the right thing with christianity when portuguese tried to introduce and covert the local population.
