This depreciation is driven by the expectation that the Bank of Japan will maintain its ultra-loose monetary policy. If you hold Japanese Yen and assets like JCB Treasury Bills, you should sell them. The Yen will further depreciate and the Japanese Central Bank will continue to let it fall as it has been instructed by the US not to sell US Treasury Bills to save the Yen. Countries are dumping US Treasury Bills, and Yellen can not afford to let the situation deteriorate further even as the JCB would be doing the right thing to sell.
