Victoria 3… JAPAN! | Ep 10 | Building an Economy From Scratch!

Japan is COMPLETELY different in vibe from anything we’ve played before. We are isolationists (at least to start!) and must build a complete industry chain from scratch. Do we open our borders? Do we open other people’s borders… by force? Let’s find out!

  1. You've been ignoring nearly all government pop-ups and legitimacy this entire series that radicals have grown to that rediculous level, throw in those for just now starting to industrialize a few decades late that those radicals are going to take a long time to start to burn off.

If you were to play at speed 3 or 4 you would miss less important pop-ups/warnings and be able to read tooltips to learn what things are doing.

  2. Stationing a unit in a HQ does not change their home base and they will go home at end of war. On the Army screen there is a very small button (top left) where you can change an army's home HQ (works for fleets as well)

  3. The station HQ is really unreliable and keeps resetting yes. There might be a hidden home base HQ function that you either can't change or is hidden somewhere in a sub-sub-sub-etc-menu somewhere in the UI.
